Folgaria, the Road to Antony 2026 🇮🇹🤺
All of Italy’s Olympic fencing national teams are training in Trentino for their final major camp before the Senior European Championships in Antony, scheduled from 16 to 21 June.
Foil, sabre and épée. Men and women. One great team preparing for one of the most important events of the season through intense training sessions, competition simulations, athletic preparation and a strong team spirit.
Federal President Luigi Mazzone highlighted the value of this shared journey:
“It is wonderful to see the groups from all weapons working together, strengthening the team spirit that makes Italian fencing ONE GREAT TEAM.”
Folgaria was no random choice: Trentino offers the ideal conditions to prepare at the highest level, thanks also to the synergy with the Trentino-Alpe Cimbra area.
The focus is already on France, with confidence and ambition:
“We approach this event knowing we can be competitive in every discipline. We arrive in Antony after a World Cup season with 59 podium finishes and with the right mix of experience and young talent.”
